Basic Divorce Service
The Basic Divorce Service is designed for simple uncontested divorces involving no community property assets, no community debts, no minor children, no requests for spousal support, and no retirement or pension division. This service includes preparation of all required divorce paperwork needed to move your case through the court process toward judgment. Clients will be responsible for filing their documents with the court and arranging for service on their spouse. Just Ask A Paralegal will provide detailed step-by-step instructions explaining how service must be properly completed and how the Proof of Service documents should be prepared and filed. In most uncontested situations, no court appearances are required.*
Regular Divorce Service
The Regular Divorce Service is designed for uncontested divorce matters involving community assets, debts, minor children, child custody arrangements, child support, and/or spousal support issues. This service includes preparation of all required court forms necessary to address the terms of the divorce and move the case toward judgment. Clients remain responsible for filing the completed documents with the court and arranging for service on their spouse. Just Ask A Paralegal will provide clear instructions regarding proper service procedures and completion of the required Proof of Service paperwork. In many uncontested cases, no court appearances are required.*
Premium Divorce Service
The Premium Divorce Service provides a more comprehensive level of document preparation support for uncontested divorce matters involving assets, debts, children, custody, child support, and spousal support issues. This service includes preparation of all required court forms and marital settlement agreement (if requested), filing of documents with the court, and service of documents on the other spouse through mail or acknowledgment procedures using our secure document portal. Where electronic filing is available, documents will be submitted through the court’s eFile system. In counties where eFile is unavailable, documents will be filed by mail or physically delivered to the courthouse. Clients will also receive access to file-endorsed copies of all filed documents through the client portal as they are returned by the court. In most uncontested matters, no court appearances are required.*
